قال أستاذ العلوم السياسية بجامعة ويستمنستر عبد الوهاب الأفندي إن الأحزاب السودانية كلها -بما فيها حزب الأمة- رحبت بالحوار الوطني ولكنها "جاءت إلى المائدة فوجدت الصحون فارغة".
