قال نائب محافظ بابل قاسم الزاملي إن السبب الرئيس للتصعيد ضد المرجع الشيعي محمود الصرخي هو رفضه فتوى السيستاني التي دعا فيها للجهاد، واعتبرها الصرخي دعوة للحرب الأهلية.
